**Nature at it’s best**

What a weekend!! It was like a fairy tale, couldn’t have asked for more.

On May 23rd and 24th, the community turned out to enjoy a much needed, beautiful, summer day during the celebration of “Sion Carnival” ; a fundraiser in aid of special Children, Widows and Farmers at the prestigious Sion Fort in association with the Archaeological Survey of India.

First time in History a Cultural Awareness Program in association with Archaeological Survey of India was held at Sion Fort and “Sion Carnival” wherein over 450 specially challenged children, senior citizens, orphans and widows were benefited and entertained. Archaeological Survey of India awarded a certificate and a Memento for the contribution by New Hope Foundation towards Social Excellence.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt this year’s Sion Carnival was the best one yet. The goal was to promote and celebrate God’s creation and encourage donations for a noble cause. The event was, once again, a great success, and we hope all participating enjoyed it.

NHF thanks the Archaeological Survey of India for helping us organize such a wonderful episode for the very first time as well as for all of the time and effort that they have characteristically put into organising such an event. NHF appreciate all of the work they did for these events and always look forward to them when we know that they were in charge.

NHF would also like to thank Dharamaprakash Sreenivasiah High School (D. S. High School) for participating and supporting the event.

After the event NHF Team members visited Aurangabad to distribute clothes, utensils, food & cheques to the families of the farmers who ended their life due to drought.
